How far will artificial intelligence impact on advisory work and what risks do we face from increased sharing of real-time data? \nSpeakers\nPaul Aplin: Paul was ICAEW President 2018/19 and is a former Chair of the Tax Faculty. He is a member of CIOT Council\, HMRC’s Administrative Burdens Advisory Board and CFE’s Tax Technology Committee and recently retired as a tax partner with A C Mole & Sons. In 1997 he filed the UK’s first electronic tax return and has maintained a close interest in digitalisation of tax administration\, serving on HMRC’s Carter Programme Board which oversaw the implementation of the2006 Carter Review. \nRaj Shah:  has particularly developed sector expertise in barristers’ chambers\, property and healthcare. Prior to Litchfields\, Raj was a tax manager at Armitage and Norton\, now part of KPMG\, where he qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser.
